We’re back. 2007 has begun. But this is not the New Year’s Show of the Creative Mom Podcast. Tune in next week for that. Might as well give all of us a bit of extra time to contemplate this year’s goals. In Episode 30:
… a creative lull (for the kids)
… the power of a coloring book [Roger Burrows does the trick]
… the bookmarks are passed out
… two recipes are instant hits [a healthy remake of apple butterscotch cake and the Lemon Bread recipe posted on the Knitting Cook’s site]
… a Superhero designs gift [in tropical] and a cool pen, too
… I put [a bunch of] new creative tools to use
… the ATC exchange is over
… a “wishful” thematic prompt
… and more. (Length: 58 min)
(Note: In the opening notes, I say that this episode will contain an audio log recorded from the road over the holiday. It does not. For the sake of length, I’ll be bundling that up as a separate special episode in the next few days.)
Featured Podsafe Music:
Intro Clip: Jim Fidler ~ All I Really Wanted [PMN]
Matthew Ebel – Every Color [PNM]
Thomas Westberg Trio (AssertiveSound) – Moments of Joy [PNM]
Kelly Goodlad – January [PNM]
Titles that made an appearance over the holiday… (and other relevant highlights)
Wonderful podcast Amy! I missed listening the last few weeks. You’ve inspired me to get on the stick and add a podcast in the next few days.
I’m getting a moleskine book or two, once they are back in at Amazon. My dh got me a journal at Borders but it’s not really art friendly. It will be nice for journaling though.
Thanks so much for taking time to podcast! I really look forward to your episodes.
:D

I love, love, love your podcasts, although I am not a Mom yet! You are so inspiring and I bought a lot of the books you talked about in your podcasts. Thanks for taking the time! I am a big Creative Mom podcast fan.
