Add Spark to Your Podcast App

Amy Featured

In November 2017, I will be podcasting short daily shows as part of NaPodPoMo. So that I don’t overflow my regular Creativity Matters Podcast feed for listeners who are not interested in the short shows, I will be posting these “Spark” shows to a separate feed. I am not listing this in the Apple Podcasts directory because the content will get folded into CMP episodes.

If you want to follow along in November, you will need to add the podcast to your podcast player of choice. (Alternately, you can listen through the website using the show notes page each day.) The visual directions below use Overcast (a very good player option) as the example for the process. I’ve also noted the basic directions for Apple Podcasts (pre-iOS 11) and Apple Podcasts (iOS11+).

Basically, open your app, find the place where you can add a new show by URL (or “feed”), and enter: http://www.creativitymatterspodcast.com/wp/feed/cmpspark/

Visual directions for adding the Spark feed to Overcast:

The “Spark” version should appear in your list. (Cover art will probably change.)

Note: links provided to books, tools, and other resources on the Creativity Matters Podcast website may be affiliate links for which the podcast would make a (very) small amount of money if the item was purchased. The Creativity Matters Podcast is an Amazon.com affiliate. Links are provided for convenience to help you find/see/explore the books, tools, and resources I talk about. Using the library, when possible, is always my first recommendation for reviewing books firsthand.
