In this episode of the CMP, a review of Doodlebug, a YA book by Karen Romano Young that has wonderful graphic novel form. I was planning to talk about this book anyway (because I really enjoyed it and read it slowly and over time with the CMP in mind), but it now ties in with my #100dayproject, so it has new relevance. Doodlebug is delightfully dense for a graphic novel. It’s small in size, but there is a good bit to take in, and there is quite a bit of text to balance the doodles and illustration.
