Episode 363: Orange Spine

Episode 363 of the CMP, a Creativity Matters Podcast

In this episode of the CMP, a partial flip-through of a big book, Oliver Jeffers: The Working Mind and Drawing Hand. This book is a coffee table book in size, format, and content, but I really enjoyed flipping through it (more than once) and seeing so many examples of Jeffers’ work, especially his whimsical children’s book illustrations. I also found his series of Dipped Paintings fascinating. The book review portion of this Episode is a “from the car” flip-through, so there is some ambient noise, including honking car horns, and the volume and quality doesn’t match up to recording at home. But I recorded on the heels of a wonderful (and very small) micro-adventure, part of a series of to-dos I am working on this year. Once back in the car…. I flipped on the recorder to connect with all of you! In this show, you also get to hear the pages rustling as I turn them in real time. Hopefully, the tradeoff is okay!

Note: This is a partial flip-through. There is a very short additional show continuing this discussion of the book that will be available for the “unplugged” show listeners at Patreon.
