Episode 375 of the CMP, a Creativity Matters Podcast — December musings, taking time to make snowflakes and paper cranes, and an inspiring book about women artists
In this episode of the CMP, thoughts on fitting in time for creativity in December. Sometimes it can be as simple as taking 30 or 60 seconds and drawing an ornament from the tree. Plus, folding a paper crane and an advocation of fitting in crafty and creative moments like making paper snowflakes, make a snowflake from wooden craft (or popsicle) sticks, or even making your own snow globe. (See links below for inspiration!)
Two books in this episode as I clear off the bench where all the library books are stacked: Women in Art: 50 Fearless Creatives Who Inspired the World and The Year of Cozy. Women in Art is a wonderful book. It’s beautifully illustrated and contains a lot of information. I think you’ll really enjoy learning more about women in art history, especially with kids and grandkids.
