Episode 465 Finding Lane

Episode 465 of the CMP, a Creativity Matters Podcast — Planning for a summer series, Index-Card-a-Day, enjoying and finding your creative lane, and more

The Index-Card-a-Day Challenge has already started for 2022. In this show, recorded before ICAD began, I talk about working in a series and what I thought I might do this summer. Already, I’m finding that I want/need to change up what I’m doing some, partly because it isn’t feeling as cohesive as I would like for a series. But, I needed to start it out this way and see what happened. What are you making this summer?

Notes and Updates:

  1. We finished The Starless Sea (by Erin Morgenstern, author of The Night Circus) in the CMP group. This was our fifth group read. I loved it (until the very end). Overall, I really loved the “experience” of reading this book. It is one that definitely makes my list of favorites. We are now reading Bear and the Nightingale.
  2. We are in Week 23 of #illustrateyourweek for 2022. The weekly prompts are posted on the Creativity Matters Podcast page at Instagram.
